Bridgestone, the world’s number one tyre and rubber company[1], has deployed its Battlax on-road expertise in the Adventure tyre segment, with the launch of Battlax Adventure A41.
For trail on-road bikers who love exploring, Adventure A41 provides top-level wet grip and handling reassurance that will help them go wherever they want, in any conditions.
The new Battlax Adventure A41 package includes Bridgestone’s triple-layer compound technology on front and rear[2], providing a balance of top handling and wear life performance, plus a cap and base configuration on the tyre shoulder that improves stability in cornering.[3]
A new Bridgestone compound, providing more grip in low temperatures and wet conditions, combines with a tread pattern designed with a higher void ratio in the shoulder area, for improved water drainage. The large-block design provides the necessary rigidity for high-speed straight and cornering stability.
In-house testing shows adventure bikers what A41 can do for them in adverse conditions: lap times on Bridgestone’s wet handling track came in up to 8% faster than the A40 predecessor.
In addition, the large contact patch (5% bigger than A40) produces greater and more even pressure distribution, helping to deliver superior grip on both wet and dry, with the same long wear life as the previous adventure tyre.
