On Sunday 11 June 2017, Elastrak the exclusive distributor for Bridgestone tires in Greece presented the new tire that changes the rules of the game: the Bridgestone DriveGuard, the "guardian angel" of the drivers.
The presentation took place in a historically significant area, at Lavrion Technological & Cultural Park, which has hosted some of the most important innovations in Greece, such as the first call center and the first computer.
In an "all-day celebration", ELASTRAK's dealers and press reporters had the opportunity to experience Bridgestone's innovative technology, the ultimate DriveGuard experience.
Bridgestone's DriveGuard is part of the company's commitment to road safety - practically in all conditions - as it can help prevent accidents that may result from tire damage or sudden loss of air pressure. The Bridgestone DriveGuard is mounted on almost any vehicle equipped with TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) 1
Guests enjoyed an interactive presentation with ELASTRAK's Managing Director Panayiotis Diamantopoulos and had the opportunity of an exclusive test drive to experience the comfort and performance, driving with and without air pressure (safe and comfortable driving despite total tyre air loss for up to 80 km up to 80 km / h).
Thanks to the new Bridgestone DriveGuard tire you get to your destination even if your tire has a puncture!

1 Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is electronic equipment designed to record the air pressure within the tire. The system transmits a signal to warn the driver in the car. If the pressure drops below a certain level, the driver's notice will appear on the dashboard of the car. Driving distance after tapping your tire may vary based on vehicle load, outside temperature and when the TPMS is triggered.
